When i got into trouble mom was the one person you did not want to get spanked by. She was a farm girl, then became a nurse so she was not weak by any means. I would climb a tree to get away from her. Most of the time by the time I finally got back down she had cooled off or gotten distracted by other stuff. However this one time she was waiting for me.
